You may have thought, "I want my video or my voki or my prezi appear RIGHT ON MY TOPIC PAGE in My Louisville!"
Using web tools can be engaging, but making it easy for your students to view or participate in the content can be cumbersome.
By EMBEDDING the content on your class page, they get to it faster and get to the learning immediately. Here's how:
Drag the EMBED content type onto your topic page.
When you do, it will automatically ask you to paste in the embed code that you have "copied" from your source. Most online tools have embed code now!
PASTE IN THE EMBED CODE from your web tool.
Try this with a youtube video, prezi, voki, voice thread, or any web tool that provides embed code. Practice it.
You can change the width number to 100% so it displays nicely.
If it doesn't show up, try adding an s to the http:// so it now says https:
