Ligia shared with me a web service that some students are using to study. It is really well done for a free service and I like it. www.StudyBlue.com …and you can (and maybe should) make an account so you can share materials with them, and/or see what materials students are sharing. Here are the cool factors: • Students can create a “backpack” of classes and add flashcards, notes, etc to their classes. • As they study it keeps statistics on their progress over time • It has an “app” so they can study from their smart phone anywhere/anytime • It sends reminders to their phone that it’s time to study • It sends a message to their facebook account that they are busy studying to decrease interruptions • They can add images and audio to the cards (think biology or Spanish) • Flashcard sets can’t get lost or misplaced or “left at my dad’s house” • They can study “offline” if no internet accress Here are the things to keep in mind: • They can join classes already existing and see study mat...
