Maps for your students, in and out of classroom

Louisville provides access from your computer to current educational relief maps, political maps, interactive historical maps, gov and econ charts, outline maps of everything you can think of, and a digital desk atlas. StrataLogica’s maps/charts project beautifully, and your students can access them from home. Visit http://www.stratalogica.com and sign in with any of the usernames/passwords below. What can it do? StrataLogica allows you to move from the political map to Google Earth view, open two maps side by side, and pull down a 2D map on top of them. You can also print or display outline maps, organize creative quizzes, use for review, etc. 2011-2012: I have created usernames and passwords for you and your students to access appropriate maps, charts and atlas. Each username can be shared by all of your students, and you as...

Two more laptop carts available!

We now have two carts of laptops available for juniors and seniors to use! Feel free to schedule regular days all semester! · The large cart of 30 HP laptops is housed in room 6. Patty Schewe is keeper of the key. · A smaller cart of 26 Lenovo laptops is now kept in room 1. It has a combo lock. I’ll tell you the combo as needed. Feel free to reserve, move and return the cart yourself! I will “train you” the first time. And the second if you want. You can always email me whenever you need help moving a cart, especially if you are not in the Freshman Wing! Sign out the carts using the TECHNOLOGY calendar on My Louisville. Here’s how: o Use the VIEW dropdown on the Calendar to select Technology calendar. o Click on the little box next to any calendar entry to ADD a new entry. o Indicate the PERIOD, TEACHER, AND SMALL OR BIG CART as the description. o Use the smaller cart if possible in case a larger class needs the big one. · Please don’t disrupt rooms 1 and...
