Shared testing calendar online

At our faculty meeting we decided to share a calendar for testing and major project due dates. We already share the club and student council meeting calendar… I created two new calendars on My Louisville: one for TESTS AND PROJECTS and one for CLUB MEETINGS. You can see them anywhere/anytime... home, dining room, classroom, etc. Students do not see the TESTS calendar, only you. Click CALENDAR (under My Academics on the left blue menu) and select any calendar using VIEWS.

Interactive whiteboards, anyone?

Hello! Are you interested in upgrading your classroom with an Eno board as we installed last summer in rooms 4 and 9? They are bright, engaging, well-centered and fun! -A projector is mounted above so you don’t need a pull-down screen anymore -Write on them just like ordinary whiteboards when not in use -A stylus makes the board act like a giant tablet pc -Gets the teacher out from behind his/her laptop -Gets students physically involved in the lesson -Connect the projector just like you do now, but from the front of the room instead of the side or rear -Keep your document camera and audio/video equipment in the front of the room too! Go take a look at those classrooms and let me know if you want a true demo to try it out. We need to know how many teachers are interested so we can plan for summer purchase and installation.
