Presidential speeches into word clouds for analysis

Here’s a U of Virginia’s http://millercenter.org/president/speeches Presidential Speech Archive- The Scripps Library, through cooperation with various presidential libraries, has been collecting some of the most important presidential speeches in American history. These speeches all have transcripts, and some are available in their entirety in audio or video. Great for showing in class, listening or watching for homework, or pasting text into www.wordle.net . There is a word cloud in the right margin of every speech so you can get a feel for what wordle would do with it. Keep this link for future reference with your classes. Here’s a sample attached of Harry S. Truman- Victory Celebration (November 3, 1948)
