Jennifer and I would like to collect digital assignments from you that showcase the creative things your students did this year. WASC and “articulation” with feeder school and admissions will all use these to show others the work our girls do here at Louisville. David will set up a folder that appears on your desktops for you to copy files by department. In the meantime, please think about what different assignments you gave, and see what you can collect from students on Tuesday-Friday of next week. I know it’s last minute, but you can also have students email the files directly to me if that helps.

I think you might find this article from THE Journal interesting. I know we don’t use ‘TurnItIn.com” for student submission of written work, but this article is from the company that provides that and did some research about the sources of known plagiarism., I’ve seen Corey submit to TurnItIn for Crespi. An alternative for us is simply Google…. you can paste any chunk of text into Google and it will list matches from the web. Try it out by copy/pasting some text from this article into google and see what it does.
