Drop Box for Assignments

Let your students turn in their assignments electronically! It’s really simple, and Elizabeth Reising has had success trying it out with her English students. She has used it at least twice already… and it has flexible options. She and I have a couple of questions to clarify but otherwise it’s working well. -Students can type in (or copy/paste) short answers without uploading a file… very easy to read and grade. Teachers can print these out if needed. -Students can submit one or more files, and they see the uploaded filenames for confirmation. Teacher can “reset” for a student if needed. -Teachers can view the answers/files and enter a grade that goes directly into the grade book. -Teachers can see immediately who did not submit or who submitted late. -This is a great way to do “pop quizzes” and eliminate paper. You would use the “upload 0 files” option and grade quickly from your screen and enter scores as you go without opening your grade book. If you want to try it out with me...
