Although not many teachers participated, those who did gained valuable, uninterrupted time learning new software for use in their classes. Google Earth, Google Docs, and Audacity were the three focus areas. Variety is the key, we don't want all of our students doing the same thing every day. Having teachers focusing on software and tools that really work for their class will give our students exposure and experience in a wide variety of things. Doing a couple of things really well is much better than trying out 7 new things and being unproductive and dissatisfied. Well done!
